Swanson Fund Luncheon 2018
The Foundation for the Performing Arts Center cordially invites you to attend the third annual Swanson Fund Luncheon, to be held on Sunday, February 25th at the Performing Arts Center.
This year we will be honoring Susan and Tom Davies, an inspiring couple who have spent over 34 years teaching and composing music on the Central Coast.
Please join us for an afternoon that is equal parts luncheon and variety show, as Susan and Tom Davies’ peers, students and colleagues take turns paying tribute through music, monologue, and story.

Susan and Tom have made an indelible impression on the performing arts in our community. They have devoted their lives to teaching and inspiring music in others. We are thrilled to share with them the impact of their tireless work.
Proceeds of the luncheon will support the Clifton Swanson Community Access Fund, an initiative that awards grants to local arts groups to subsidize the costs of performing at the PAC. This year’s luncheon is generously underwritten by Lyn Baker.
If you would like to attend, please visit our ticketing website here.
We hope to see you on February 25.

Heart of the Arts Gala & Sidecar After Party
The Foundation for the Performing Arts Center held its biennial fundraising event the Heart of the Arts Gala & Sidecar After Party on Saturday, September 16th at the Performing Arts Center.
The Heart of the Arts Gala & Sidecar After Party was a night of fine dining, live music, cocktails, and dancing as attendees celebrated local performing arts and discovered how integral all forms of creativity are to one another.
Dinner was served center stage in Harman Hall and was followed by an exclusive after party outside under the stars on the PAC loading dock. The after party was sponsored by Sidecar Cocktail Company and emceed by radio personality Adam Montiel.
The Heart of the Arts Gala & Sidecar After Party raised almost $150,000. All proceeds benefit the Foundation’s arts education programs, including the Swanson Fund and the 2017 – 18 School Matinee season. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the arts in San Luis Obispo County.
Special thanks to Kristin Hoover of Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center and Courtney Meznarich of Barnett Cox & Associates who co-chaired the event, as well as our wonderful honorary chairs, Candee and Bert Forbes.
We look forward to celebrating with you again at the Loading Dock Party on September 22, 2018.
