Kristin Hoover
Executive Director
A resident of San Luis Obispo since 2011, Kristin has been very involved and committed to service in our local community. Prior to her role as FPAC’s Executive Director, she was a human resources executive in healthcare for 15 years, before starting her own HR consulting business in 2019. She served on the FPAC board for 7 years, and has served on other boards and committees, including the Women’s Legacy Fund Advisory Committee, Workforce Development Board, and the Housing Task Force for the SLO Chamber of Commerce. She is a Leadership SLO alumni, Class XXIII, and has received the Pacific Coast Business Times Top 40 Under 40 award and the Tribune’s Top 20 under 40 award. Kristin’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in human resource management. She is passionate about the arts and their ability to draw communities together through a shared experience.
Beth Goolsby
Operations and Communications Manager
Beth’s journey as COO in the fashion industry took her around the globe, collaborating with vendors and buyers in diverse markets. Her passion for connecting with people and fostering meaningful relationships now drives her work as the Operations and Communications Manager for the Foundation. Beth’s strategic approach and dedication to promoting the performing arts help elevate the PAC as a premier cultural hub on the Central Coast. Through her role at FPAC and as a certified SCORE mentor, Beth is excited to engage with and contribute to the vibrant community that makes this area so special.
Courtney Gruss
Development Assistant
Courtney joined the FPAC team in 2023, and is passionate about the Performing Arts Center and the ways in which it serves our residents and youth. A native of Arroyo Grande, Courtney enjoys volunteering at her daughter’s school and is actively involved in the community. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Azusa Pacific University, and is thrilled to use her diverse skillset to serve our donors and further our ability to make the arts accessible to all!
Laura Kirven
Events Assistant
Laura grew up in Northern California and moved to San Luis Obispo in 1989. After attending Cuesta College and Cal Poly, she settled in the area with her husband Shawn. They have two wonderful children currently in college. With a lifelong background in customer service, Laura is dedicated to making people feel seen, comfortable, and well cared for. She thrives on the energy that events bring to a space and is committed to ensuring our donors receive attentive and personalized care. With her passion for the arts and keen organizational skills, Laura plays a vital role in the smooth execution of our events, enhancing the overall experience for everyone involved.
